Delta Circus carpark flooded

heng i never park there, passed by there today and saw plenty of tol truck busy sharpening their knife [sweatdrop][sweatdrop]

 

even the carpark near to the canal also kena..... a lot of car owner busy cleaning their car cos the water is so high that it went to the door and boot

ya i look out of window n got stunned [jawdrop] , the carpark and busstop all kena flooded. but do note that delta circus car park (beside gan eng seng sec sch ) is a low lying area and is prone to flooding.

I used to work in Delta House and park my car at that carpark (cheap ya..only $30/month)

 

A few of my colleagues (4 or 5 of them) got their cars flooded.

One colleague sold his car when it was flooded, only to get his new car flooded afew months later. Talk about bad luck!

 

One colleague's 2-week old WRX was flooded. You should have seen the look on his face.

 

Anyway, these happened afew years back.

 

Flooding is common in that area. Whenever it rains heavily, we'll have to shift our vehicles elsewhere.

Saw these pics on asiaone.com yesterday too [nod][nod][nod] and pity these car owners man [:(]

 

There are also a couple of pics showing the car owners (I supposed) holding their umbrellas looking helpless at their rides [sweatdrop][sweatdrop][sweatdrop]

that area has been flooding for years... i live near there in my younger days of my life... that whole carpark is really lower than the roads surrounding it.. becomes a 'catchment' area when it pours...

cause that land no development ma.. only recent years then got a school beside it... sch also got carpark.. in fact all new development got new carparks...
