Berjaya Times Square Parking

Hi All,

 

Anyone know whether the parking at times square is safe? planning to go KL 2nd week Dec and will be staying at Berjaya Times Square hotel. Anyone stayed there before? any comment? thanks in advance...

Yes, I hv been there 2 yrs ago. Hotel is nice. There is one basement floor for hotel guest to park (Sorry cud not remember which flr) from there the lift will bring you up to the hotel. Whereas other car park will only lead you to the shopping centre. The car park quite isolate, but it is quite safe. Security petrolling also.

yup its safe, but watch those small but high humps theres separate parking for shopping ppl and hotel guest

I was there 2 years back. Park underground and realize my tyre was punctured. I took sometime to examine the tyre. The next moment I turned around, a security guard was asking me if I need any help.

Parked there before when it was just opened, to experience the biggest indoor roller-coaster.

 

No problems with the car park.

Depends on your luck. I parked overnite in a side road off the main road in Jln Tunku Abdul Rahman and nothing happened.

 

If we are so KS, forget about driving and parking in My.

Get a map. Many ways to get there. Not easy to give direction as the distance is too far. I find it funny that most ask for direction to a place and not direction to get back. My is a big country. Except for the hwy, the direction going to a place is very different from direction in returning.

Get a GPS bro, never get lost in KL again.

 

It helps me navigate KL with ease when I go with my gf back home. From Ampang to Times Square to 1 Utama to Digital Mall(something like SLS, lots of pirated DVDs too ), no problem!

Got a BT GPS with ipaq and mapking 2007 loaded . just not too sure if the map is up to date.

 

What GPS you using?

Never been there before...but followings are what I extracted from the Malaysia GPS map. Hope it is accurate enough. Total distance is about 15km.

 

Turn Left upon exit of Berjaya Times Square

Travel along Jln Imbi towards Jln Hang Tuah for abt 1km

Turn right at Jln Maharajalela and travel for about 500m and

Turn left into Jln Sultan Sulaiman and travel for about 390m

Enter into Jln Sye Putra and travel for about 3.5km

Hit Expressway Entry in 1km

Enter Lbr Pantai Baru for ~7km (pass by 2 tolls)

Follow Sunway Lagoon sign and exit...then make sharp turn left (U-turn back).

 

Return path is abit complex...

Need to travel down all the way to Jln Jengka to make a U-turn back Lbr Pantai Baru (very long)

Head towards Lbr KL Seremban and enter it.

Enter Jln Sg Besi

Arrive a cirlce and turn out at 2nd left exit

Go straight along Jln Sg Besi (do not turn left into Jln Gelang)

Turn left into Jln Pudu

Keep right when you see Hotel Metro on the right

Make U-turn back into Jln Changkat Thambi Dollah and pass by Hotel Metro

Keep left when you see a public bank on the left.

Make next left turn and go straight.

Hit into Jln Imbi and turn left into Berjaya Times Square.

Once I lost my parking ticket in Sg Wang opposite Times Sq. I had to produce IC in addition to paying the penalty for lost ticket. That's a good security measure.

Good attempt. If you can give him direction via Federal Hwy, you don't need to pay toll.

 

From Times Sq, you can only turn left if it is from the front. If he gets out from the side, he will be lost man.
