Duragloss #951(AW) + Duragloss #521 + Zaino grooming

The car has been neglected by me for a good 2 months, not even touching it or even washing it.

No Aquawax application from me, till last saturday, when i received my new poison from MD.

On the car, is already Zaino products, done by Cazcomp.

Last saturday, due to time constraints, i only managed to apply ONE layer of 521. I actually wanted to do a 521, and a AW application, but i only could do 521.

Seeing the car quite dirty today, 4 days after the wash, due to the rain, I decided to wash and do AW and 521 today, as i wanted protection as I would be going overseas on Sunday for 10 days. Don't know what weather Singapore would experience while im away.

 

I took pictures after hosing the car, after the wash ( and dried), and lastly, after the 2 layers of Aquawax 1st, then 521 followed by.

 

Hope the detailing gurus out there can give some comments on how i can improve the car's shine.

I let the Aquawax sit on the car for about 15 mins, before buffing off, and then spraying a mist of 521 straight after buffing off.

May do some Sun shots in the next few days... By the time i had finished buffing, it was already 6.50pm.

P.S., The 521 really lives up to its name!

The car has this waxy waxy feel after application. MD!! Im going to use both AW and 521 concurrently!Keep stock fr me !

By the way, those of u who have these 2, AW and 521, MD recommends to use 521 first, then AW.

521 very tork kong The best QD i ever use. It cleans very well and the best part is it revive the car into the showroom look instantly

But 521 cleaning properties very hard to see the diff on black car right?

It works wonders on black cars Mine is black I've never seen the same kind of shine created by #521 on my 9 mths old car...not even when I first collected it brand new from Champion or after subjecting my car to 4 monthly system 6 PPS coating from Tuff Kote.

 

And about the cleaning properties, I've inadvertently "kissed" my spare wheel cover against a protruding side wall of a MSCP...; just a light touch and the paint on the wall got inprinted on the wheel cover. I couldn't remove them after several washes and when I send it for system 6 recoating and asked them if they could remove it, they said they'll try their best but in the end, only partially removed and there were still some stubborn remnants that refused to go away. Then I tried #521 (to be honest, I was just aiming for the shine on my car) and surprise surprise!! The paint marks were removed And on top of that...the terrific shine made me wanna utter profanities

Hahaha.. Showroom no watermarks and swirls lah.

But daily driven car, which black DAILY driven car, DOESN'T have swirls? So it can't be considered showroom condition. But the shine, freaking good.

Too bad it's raining.... But hope the good 24 hrs since i applied the layers, could provide enough time for the layers to cure.

Hi which is more suitable? #501 or #521 after washing? Thought #521 is more of a QD?
