Dear all, need some feedback...

I notice a slight drop in car performance(pick up) after installing 2 nos. of amps in my new car. Does anybody experience that?

Seems like your amp is sucking way too much current from the battery.

Is the performance loss similar to when you off/on the aircon?

I have not try to off aircon to compare, I will try this evening when driving home.

Nobody has the same experience like me? I don't have capacitor, but I don't play loud heavy bass music either.

My amp is Audison LRX4.3 & Performa amp(Sub). Car is Skoda Superb.

Its not a lot of power loss, but can feel that I need to step more to move off or overtaking.

Don't think your amp is so power hunger to affect performance, moreover, it's about stepping off..

But to be sure, why don't you disconnect the stuff and see if there's diff

Not sure if adding a capacitor or upgrade your battery would help anot..

Just now I try to drive with & without ICE on, not much difference in power. But definitely a lot of difference as compare with my earlier performance without ICE. Wondering why? [:/]

Try disconnecting the main fuse from the battery to see if there's any effect? There should be no power supply to the amps at all this way.

now... hands up.. beside amp, what else did you put? [sly]

if it's sluggish in the accerlation, try sprint boaster.. not sure if it solve your issue but it does make some improvement to the reaction.

Note: reaction time on your throttle. doesn't add more horses
