after driving the car with a price tag of $80k, i loved it.. love the looks and the sound of the engine.. although this isnt the T-jet version(1.4Turbo), when releasing the accelerator, there's this Turbo-surge kinda sound.. for turbo cars with BOV, it sounds like vrooom pssst... but in this case it goes like vrooom chhh chhh chhh chh.. wonder wad made that sound..

also when i opened the bonnet and started revving a little, it sounds like the air intake is sucking in lots of air.. kinda like CAI.. e moment i step on it n let go in a split sec, the air intake is loud.. [confused]

i like the sound of the exhaust too.. not loud but very bassy.. i like.. [thumbsup] the car is very big.. parking it beside a new camry and its like they belong in the same class.. with its 6 speed gearbox, cruising at 100, the rpm is at 2400.. very good for a manual 1.4L engine i must say.. i rmb Punto doing 100km/h at 3200rpm..

interior is great too! very sporty cum classy feel n look.. there's even an aircon vent for rear passengers.. boot space is pretty huge too.. sound proofing is good and closing of doors including the boot sounds very well built.. [thumbsup]

handling is not really much for me to say though but i must say its very grippy.. its tyres are 205/55/16..

love the car.. [inlove]

i rented before too.. pickup wise lose to punto.. in fact i find this bravo weaker than punto leh.. [sweatdrop] the car to weak to have 6gears already.. imho. [sweatdrop]

den on the day i rented, somethin got stucked in the fan blower making flap flap flap sound, so called e rental guy and he ask me to drive to TTS to fix.. in the end found out it's a leaf stucked in there.. [laugh]

do u noe that the rear fiat badgee can be depressed to open the boot? [laugh][laugh]

after both times rented fiat, i went to rent a lancer.. i feel more 'song'.. drive-by-cable stil more responsive.. and the saying really true, there's no replacement for displacement.. [:p]

From an earlier test drive, I find that the Bravo's electric power steering is way too light and feels very 'artificial'. It is like driving a Nintendo car race gaming wheel. [thumbsdown] No road feel / feedback whatsoever.

It seems that most (all?) FIATs models now did away with hydraulic power steering, which has way much better feedback. Most unfortunate [:(]

hmmm.. imo the bravo abit move powerful lei.. but then again, when i drove e punto, when changed to 2nd gear, it'll wheel spin too.. but tried for e bravo, none.. think the 6 gear is for e'way cruising..

wha lao.. go all e way to TTS n they only removed a leaf.. haha.. waste ur rental time lei..

really? i didnt know that lei.. the only trick i know about the fiat is the remote lock can wind up and down all 4 windows by pressing and holding onto the lock or unlock button.. walk out from the car n left my gf wondering why i nv wind up the window.. [laugh]

actually its very true.. compare the fiats n a lancer, power wise is totally not comparable.. dunno if they'll bring in the T-jet version..
