I am driving a vios and i lost my set of car keys with the remote.. where do i call to make another set? They said i need to have one original to duplicate..do they mean i leave it with them for a few days or? and how much will it cost? can anyone advise me on this?

Vios key should be easily duplicate if you have another set of key. As for your remote control...some specialist car key maker should be able to do it for you. Otherwise you can try silicon the co. that provide most local toyota with the alarm system.

i want exactly the same as the stock keys... the remote and the key...toyota should be able to do it right?without me leaving my remote and keys with them

There is on at turf city/toh guan. Do a search on the web.

 

If you lost both remote...then you better get a new system...cheaper. A basic alarm system should cost around $200 or less.

tks so much for your help man.. oh yah i have the remote now... what do they do with it? just scan for a while and make the keys? if i have to pass them the remote for a few days.. then i cannot drive? how does it work with toyota? or making the keys

Nor sure if ur remote is local installed or not. If U r new owner, the car keys set come with a metal tag with code where U can bring the tag to ask for replacement key from AD. As for remote from alarm, the expert will know how fix. But beware either is exp or some con dealer tell U to change new set..

If you are going to BM for the replacement...I doubt you need to leave your key there. They will have your key and remote control code.

do u still have the key with the code tag?? got 4 number on it(not for 4D).. My SE told me if key lost, just go back to them with that 4 number..

Hey bros, need to ask something..I have a suzuki car key imbedded with remoted control which I have lost. Can I just change the frequency of the alarm in the car or do I have to change the whole car system?

ai yah, yr case simple lah. $50 can get u a new car key with build in alarm.

Mine is Optra with immobilizer. Do u know how much to make a replacement key with remote & without remote?

 

I have the original sets(1 with remote & 1 without) but want to make a spare just in case.
