How do you define true friends?

Easy to answer..if you are also 'clean' in your life's dealing....you will also attract 'clean' friends.

 

So your next question is: Are 'clean' friends...TRUE friends?

 

Then you have to ask yourself..are you that 'clean ' to be true in your own life, to have friends that will be true to you?

ppl who u can trust to put ur life with... they are ur best frens.

 

i found them during my national service.....till now we are still good frens.

Might sound as a sore loser but there's nothing of such sort exists in this world.

 

Imagine there's 2 best friends A & B, who swore by blood, etc, etc ..

 

A met a girl, fell in love and got married. B also fell in love and got married. Then one day while fishing, both A and B's wife fell into the sea.

 

Being the only swimmer here, A can only rescue 1. Who can he save? The woman of his life or his best friend's?

 

If he save his wife, he will let his friend down. If he save his best friend's wife, he will lose his woman. Surely we need no guess who can we save.

 

So the moral of the story is when you have a family, everything else is secondary.

i believe in best fren...but i don believe in true frens...

 

true frens are ppl who u can trust totally n will nv betray or backstab you..

 

but now everyone trying their best to make themselves look good n they will hurt their frens jus to make themselves look like the better one...

 

also gt ppl who will lie to their frens...when 1 lies comes in mean more will come den the trust will be break...

 

therefore no such things as true frens

If i have a true friend and i am a true friend, then in the afore mentioned scenario i wont blame my buddy at all for not rescuing me. In fact i'll probably get him to rescue her instead.

 

True friends dont expect. They voluntarily give. Its only when its mutual then u start to see true friends.

for me, a real dependable fren = true fren. dun even need to meet up very often, now with diff priorities like long wk hrs, business travel, family etc. but when emergency strikes, this person can stand up and be there for you.
