Nullifi3d 4th Gear May 13, 2008 Share May 13, 2008 (edited) Theres more to life than edging out a rival by 0.1secs during 0-100km/h. Thats why i'd take a focus ST over a WRX. Focus RS cosworth coming out soon. Jap ricers, you have been warned.... http://img297.imageshack.us/img297/3992/carphoto23646925tp7.jpg Edited May 13, 2008 by Nullifi3d ↡ Advertisement

Falc 3rd Gear May 13, 2008 Share May 13, 2008 If you are talking abt styling and image i agree. Also interesting to note that the WRX is priced higher than the ST in UK. So one reason for buying ST over WRX there is actually the favorable price!
King 1st Gear May 13, 2008 Share May 13, 2008 why not, but the agent

Nullifi3d 4th Gear May 14, 2008 Share May 14, 2008 Theres this electric blue ST i saw once driving past Ang Mo Kio Sec along Hougang St93, its a good alternative to the "lambo" orange and a more sedate looking colour.

So one reason for buying ST over WRX there is actually the favorable price! Actually i think the WRX STi is the one thats priced higher (and probably the only rex model available) in the UK which is the same thing over here in SG IIRC. Theres a limited edition ST500 only for UK customers; no surprises only 500 are being sold.
Falc 3rd Gear May 14, 2008 Share May 14, 2008 It's definitely the wrx, not STI. Lowest trim ST seems to be cheapest of the lot. http://forums.motortrend.com/70/6507498/th...type/index.html
Nullifi3d 4th Gear May 14, 2008 Share May 14, 2008 oh well, i guess its the same as the Hyundai Getz which is higher priced than a VW Golf 1.6 Who'd buy a Getz over a golf, which is more expensive and made in korea.
Falc 3rd Gear May 14, 2008 Share May 14, 2008 Londoners? I dunno, i guess the trim level there is highly customizable, and that may result in certain pricing surprise. Still subaru are highly regarded in UK performance wise, no thanks to the WRC. Perhaps that's why the higher price. I only have an impression, i think it is smiliar case in the US too. Angdao Neutral Newbie May 14, 2008 Share May 14, 2008 lol yeah, and unlike him, u never crashed it and kill someone.. Nice nice. Seldom seen any ST on the road.. Talking about GTI, was at vivo, at theres a VW road show. Somehow they have this stripped down GTI going for 110,000. They call it the limited edition. Weird that a stripped down car gets a nice title "limited edition" Oh, anyway only 50 of it in singapore. no sunroof, no leather seats(im like wtf?), no bi xenon and u cant ask to change the seats into leather, he gave me a reason about the air bag. I dont really understand i just nodded away. haha ↡ Advertisement
