Martinsylim Neutral Newbie November 15, 2007 Share November 15, 2007 You get a camera for $600, then you'll have to catch your neighbor 300 times before the camera pays off.
Howfastcanyougo Neutral Newbie November 15, 2007 Author Share November 15, 2007 Is that the cheapest one around? It's not just the price of the ST, it's the inconvenience of having to drive to the petrol station to get another copy. Why do some people do this kind of things? Nismobabe Neutral Newbie November 15, 2007 Share November 15, 2007 maybe your neighbour's dog or some mischievous kids did it.
Howfastcanyougo Neutral Newbie November 15, 2007 Author Share November 15, 2007 Neighbour's dog take away an entire Straits Times by itself? Must be some kind of wonderdog; don't think so. Owner must be walking it right? Small kids going to school would most likely be accompanied by parents at that hour in the morning. So the parents cannot feign ignorance, unless they are the ones who ask the kids to take it. Either way, it's causing me inconvenience and irritation. What other solution do I have other than to catch them in the act?

Turbonetics 2nd Gear November 15, 2007 Share November 15, 2007 (edited) you need to get a seperate DVR which record and you can play back to see. another type of DVR that has the internet function means you can watch it live even when you are at your office. i bought 10 cameras and a DVR(500GB) at about $1800 that is exclude of installation. Turbonetics 2nd Gear November 15, 2007 Share November 15, 2007 for the quantity i bought,he charged me $60 per camera. price of DVR varies according. maybe you can just get a 4 or 8 channel DVR with 250GB of hard disk should suffice. and with or without internet function is your own preference. mine is using 16 channel with internet functions and 500GB of hard disk is about $1100-1200. Howfastcanyougo Neutral Newbie November 15, 2007 Author Share November 15, 2007 From what I understand, there're two types, either continuously recording type, or motion detector type. It's like those video surveillance cameras you see in department stores or casinos, but of course not so high-end lah...

Snookium 1st Gear November 15, 2007 Share November 15, 2007 (edited) As compare with all the DVS on the market, we gotta to look at the type of recording format such as Mpeg 4 format and Frame per second and security feature.
