Which side is yr gas tank located?

Hv anyone of u ever wonder which side is your fuel tank located, especially b4 u enter the fuel station? I don't know abt u guys and gals, but maybe I old liao, sometime I do drive to the wrong side of the pump and found out the pump filler is too short to reach the other end... so hv to adjust me car abit [:|]

 

Is there a good way to remember which side it is on? Stick stickers, write notes? U leh? How u rembr? [gossip]

A lot of cars these days have a small arrow within the fuel gauge to remind you which side the fuel door is. Like this one:

Let me know if it is really all hv this arrow tingy. I just checked mine... yah, got an arrow..... [laugh][laugh] drive so long still I dont know [:p] So no need to drink manual to rembr liao [dizzy]

Your fuel lid is opened from inside the cabin or outside? If inside, just pull the lever just as you are entering the station lorz. Can see from side mirror liaoz.

If original design is right-hand drive (most Asian makes), the fuel tank will be in left hand side but if it's left-hand drive (eg. Conti and American), then it will likely to be in right hand side. [flowerface]

Err..... no leh... my previous civic '91 GL is on left side leh..... tat's Y when change to Latio.. always go wrong side.... my previous previous ride... a '79 Honda Accord, if rembr correctly is on right side..... so when change to civic, 1st few months also keep going to wrong side of pump [laugh][laugh]

ha ha ha... this is a busted myth! It's not true. Saw this on other forums before.
