Oklor76 Neutral Newbie November 11, 2007 Share November 11, 2007 Hi All, Wonder anyone encountered this experience? I recently changed the right side of my HID bulb on the right side cos it blows. Then after changing, when I switch on my light, the left side one is ok but the right side one sometime got light sometime don't have. So I have to switch off and try switch on again then see if got light anot. I have rule out battery fault as the left bulb is ok. Is it possible to be the fuse fault or HID system fault? Anybody can recommend any good electrician ? ↡ Advertisement

Martinsylim Neutral Newbie November 11, 2007 Share November 11, 2007 Check if your ballast has a buzzing sound when on. If not maybe the ballast is gone.

Drunkclubber Neutral Newbie November 11, 2007 Share November 11, 2007 (edited) Hurry check on the cable connecting to ur headlights and see if it got melt or burn out or not cos if ur using HID bulbs bought at autobas etc the voltage or brightness of the bulb might be too much for the cable to handle ( too hot )if its not than i also dun know liow cos it happens to my ex mazda3 . Hope u find solution soon Edited November 11, 2007 by Drunkclubber
Yeobh 4th Gear November 11, 2007 Share November 11, 2007 Apparently your ballast(hopefully it's with the correct rating) is not been charged up fast enough - check battery voltage when the before switching on the light - should not be less than 12.6 volt.Again check wire connections to ballast, make sure they are properly secure.
