Modeldriver Neutral Newbie May 26, 2003 Share May 26, 2003 Hey... there was brief mention of this Airmax thingy which was advertised in the latest issue of HotStuff magazine. Has anybody actually seen/tried it out ? Damned curious on it's effects. ↡ Advertisement

Modeldriver Neutral Newbie May 29, 2003 Author Share May 29, 2003 guy I called said $228 w/installation.
Modeldriver Neutral Newbie May 29, 2003 Author Share May 29, 2003 Cost is $228. Install place is at AMK Autopoint #02-01 - but guy actually not there - the AMK place is his authorised installer. Issue is no real idea whether it works, and how effective etc, and no money back guarantee - unlike e.g. Broquet, Surbo. Really interested to hear from other MCFers if they've tried or heard of people who tried.
Assassin Clutched May 29, 2003 Share May 29, 2003 Yah. Would be good to hear some feedback from those who have tried it.

Modeldriver Neutral Newbie May 31, 2003 Author Share May 31, 2003 U tried it out ? where does it get fitted to ?? The picture in HotStuff magazine seems to show several hoses etc - where do those go to ?
Cool Neutral Newbie May 31, 2003 Share May 31, 2003 Airmax produces more air.. over does, you get a engine running very lean.. Too lean, your engine piston will crack. If you install Air-Max, better go for a tune up.
Modeldriver Neutral Newbie May 31, 2003 Author Share May 31, 2003 Hm.... thanks for the warning. Still not decided if I wanna try it out, especially when so far it seems pretty new, and no one has reported using it so far. The no money back terms are also quite a let down. ↡ Advertisement
