Skoda new showroom @ Leng Kee

Has anyone seen the new SKODA showroom/repair centre at Leng Kee? Drove past a couple of days ago, and noticed that everything(renovation that is) is almost up...Just left the display cars, staff and mechanics!!! Quite exciting. If you fellas drive past, look out for an empty SR next to Saab's SR...It's at the end of the row of showrooms, end of LK rd. Think it's supposed to be ready in June'02. Any one know when it's to be officially opened???

That sounds like VERY good news!!! I want to see whop these people are the moment they open shop. Maybe we can do a SKODA meetup there to signal to the Kwees that there are existing Skodas around leh ... not just those that they are selling. Lets hope the new mgt are nice people.

Actually, the word is that they're targetting an early June launch-date. Then again, knowing the Exklusiv Group ppl, we'll know when it happens - recalling when Car & Cars opened, there were like 5-6 half-page ads of VW.

 

I'd be sorely disappointed if they didn't at least do half of that for Skoda.

Oh, please do join us - if anything, we'll consider it an MCF weekend outing - that way, people can't say that the only thing we do at meetup's is hang around doing nothing but work on and admire each others' cars.
