Green Turn right arrow with red light

Hey guys,

 

I just encountered a black hatchback, either an airwave or opel astra at the junction of tampines st. 45 and tampines ave 7.

 

As abovementioned, the green turn arrow was just flashed for abt 2 secs n jus as i was abt to turn, i saw this black car beating the traffic light. The car on lane 3 from his direction has already stopped. Instead he horned at me but i blasted my horn but just inched out a lil.

 

However, he simply braked a little n beat the redlight despite my long horn.

 

Can i report such an incident to the police for dangerous driving if i have his car plate number? I am willing to testify in court against him for endangering my life.

 

Pls advice. It will be greatly appreciated.

Have u noted down his car no.?

 

Do you have an independent eye witness? If not it's your words against his...

Are u saying tht if the 2 circumstances are present. he will be charged?

Go back to the junction and check again whether there is any camera(not red light camera)soemthing which look like a cctv. If have and plus u have the other fellow number plate then u can go to traffic police and lodge report against the driver.

Will the relevant authorities replay the camera based on what happened?

dun waste time la....those officer will juz bochap ur complian

 

last time a car beating the red light nearly hitting me crossing the road....complained to traffic police by emailing them....got witness somemore.....

 

till now 2yr n counting no action n the officer juz tell me still under-investigation

they have interviewed the driver of the car n he denied it

 

told them i willing go court to testify but till now no news liao!!
