Just be careful.... its been raining pretty heavily these few days and I think the risk of Kota Tinggi flooding again is there......

JUst be more vigilant and take the other route via the NSHWY if flooding occurs

Just been up there 2 weeks ago. If you want a quick route, go by NSHW to Yong Peng or Pagoh, head towards Segamat and then Fed Highway 1 across to Kuantan. 5.5 hrs with one lunch stop.

Weather there is partly cloudy most days with continuous rain most nights. 1 week ave 3-4 sunny days but rains most nights. Be careful of driving in heavy rain cos of hidden potholes. Floods occur occasionally if rain is particularly heavy near the coast roads and clears in 2-3 hrs after rains. Good part is the beach is quite empty and deserted. Surf is strong though so have to be careful when swimming or jetsking etc.

[laugh][laugh] Not so bad la.... Its a lot better than going by route 3 all the way. The logging trucks will frustrate u to death. At night, its best to have HID. Fed hway 1 is straight and very overtakeable. If u have the balls can even ave 120-130 along a lot of the stretches. Just have to watch out for opposite side cars overtaking most of the time.

[laugh][laugh] this very true.... cannot compare la... not roads u drive everyday. Even the Kenari will overtake me.. [dizzy]

Not to worry about cameron, should be quite straight forward. See if this link will work for you. If not wrong, us should go NSHW, then switch to Fed 2 then follow signs to switch to Fed 1 and onto Fed 59. Have a good trip and good driving fun.

Yea not much diff in rain so .... Guess its best to drive in the day up North, unless it can't be helped. All I'm saying is HID have much wider throw than conventional so its easier to see the curve of the road at night.
