Echelon 3rd Gear November 3, 2007 Share November 3, 2007 I have always like the VW Phaeton and while reading the article I was pleasently suprised to find that the engineer invovled in the new MK II Superb was the Phaeton engineer, I am looking forward to what the new MKII Superb will offer in terms of pricing in Singapore. Koolaba 1st Gear November 6, 2007 Share November 6, 2007 (edited) More photos for your viewing pleasure. http://www.auto-motor-und-sport.de/fotos/f...03032_13999.hbs http://news.caradisiac.com/Future-Skoda-Su...Geneve-2008-142 Edited November 6, 2007 by Koolaba
Dudemobile Neutral Newbie November 6, 2007 Share November 6, 2007 Trust me, it'll be screwed up. Overpriced, underspeced. Spoil it even more with substandard local mods like rims and upholstery. The MkII superb is a very solid contender for the mid sized luxury sedan. Even vw is placing the luxury segment engineers to spearhead it. We need a dedicated AD, not someone who wants to take a segment for the sake of taking a segment. Look at the return of the italian rides. On the flip side if CZECH SKODA decides to become the premium brand it used to be, then we local buyers will be more screwed.

Koolaba 1st Gear November 6, 2007 Share November 6, 2007 (edited) It is quite unusual for a cousin product, the red Octavia Scout, to accompany the disguised "Audi A6" during the trial run in Death Valley, isn't it? More pictures in higher resolution, with some revealing the interior too: http://automix.centrum.cz/magazin/clanek.phtml?id=10804 Edited November 6, 2007 by Koolaba
Echelon 3rd Gear November 7, 2007 Share November 7, 2007 The pics are looking better and better, can't wait for Skoda's official brochure with all the specifications and exterior and interior shots. On a side note, they should not have arrested that guy that took the spy shots and should release him from jail as he created an interest and stir among the Skodian community and peek the interest for the next updated MK II Skoda Superb 2.
