Yeobh 4th Gear November 1, 2007 Share November 1, 2007 Jack up the car, turn the wheel manually, if you feel of hear grinding sound chance the pad caliper is not properly retracted. Try bleeding the brake system to remove air bubble at the wheel brake cylinder. If the runing don't produce any grinding sound, the other possiblity is the rotor is not properly skim and and surface is not properly hone and washed to remove minute metal chip residue. Evoluzio Neutral Newbie November 6, 2007 Share November 6, 2007 Check your brake pad. The pad might be rubbing against the disc, so after 1 week ur pads are gone already.

Yeobh 4th Gear November 6, 2007 Share November 6, 2007 Yes , the hard braking may have caused the pad and disc to bed-in.
