Dat spring Loaded bouncing feeling ,I Juzz can’t describe but it’s all good. Then come the tough part ,the accelerater pedal is so so heavy,it weighs a ton ,I was i was thinking there & then ,if I drive dis 124 for 6 months ,my right foot will be bigger than my Left foot! Then I realised the 8 valver produced onli 100 horse power & a little bit but I am utterly surprise it can keep up with Traffic & dun think I hold up any traffic, definitely I didn’t hear any Horn from behind. The Best Bit for me ,is like seeing everything in Black & white ,when u are on the roads ,the Leisure pace of the car ,the slow Reving of the First Gen fuel injection engine & dat Majestic look of the Merk ,everything abt it is in slow motion. Air shocks cannot last. I have quite a bit of (bad) experience with them. After market front ones (get online from US, Europe or Aliexpress etc) probably last 2-3 years for the front. Rear are long lasting as the weight on them is less. Just curious , Can you replace them to normal shocks without recoding the SW ?

fesa7044 2nd Gear December 18, 2022 Share December 18, 2022 Dun Buy a Hard Top Cabriolet unless u are in Malaysia. Probably due to weather than anything else. The hard top is more complex than the Soft ones. It have 4 Cylinders instead of the 2 dat Activates the opening & Closing mechanism. All Cabriolet problem(s)are mostly due to the Cylinder oil Leak . Most Cabriolet owners hardly open the Top. Now u noe why.,

mike9765 Clutched October 12, 2023 Share October 12, 2023 Hi all, I am considering an 11-12 year old W221 s-class with about 150K mileage. I would appreciate input from everyone - 2 questions: 1) any thoughts on the quality and reliability of a s-class of the above vintage? I understand need to budget 5-10k to do instant repairs upon handover. 2) workshop is fine for me to use my own workshop to do PPI (they suggested VICOM / AA but I am aware those are not the best PPI around) but said no to C&C PPI. Is this a red flag? ↡ Advertisement
