That would be more objective. I have owned all sort of cars, RWD, FWD, AWD, and in Singapore context, no difference (driven legally). Pre-traction control days, RWD would throw its tail when making a turn too quickly on wet road, making it more dangerous. But that's me - only comfort and acceleration matter. In fact I set my steering force to lightest. Handling takes back seat! Edited May 2, 2020 by Volvobrick ↡ Advertisement 5

Albeniz Turbocharged May 3, 2020 Share May 3, 2020 (edited) I think our friend needs to do the followings: 1. Keep the sentence short. 2. Avoid short forms which others have difficulties understanding. 3. Check for typos and obvious spelling mistakes before posting. 4. keep the story simple. 5. If the above fails, just draw a diagram instead of writing a lengthy article. Edited May 3, 2020 by Albeniz

And VCS was good enough to warranty parts If it was a TSB failure even after warranty. Only thing that cause a big problem was year 8 car start . But the car but cannot switch off. Had to pull the fuse to shut off the car. On year 9 the fuel regulator pump up lorry. Other then the small niggers like fallen roof liners and melted head lamp wire looms, it drove pretty well and sorted after u swap the S3 Lower control arm, dog bone insert and KW v3 coilovers and ARB , brake kit upgrade and a APR stage 1 tune. I consider this as bolts on and not major power swap like turbos and downpipes. Edited May 4, 2020 by Sdf4786k

I owns a 30 yrs classic & in those days ,MB will sneered @ any front wheel drive car but there again time have changed. Big numbers & data reporting is the name of the game, think the A is the first one with their refresh approach. The A,B,CLA,GLA are known as the,,wait for it........................ poverty package! In Aussie speak(not me,ah),think somebody down here is,not amused & say so. well? Its the TRUTH ,nothing but the truth! LOL some ppl like you are just too old to adapt. Last time ppl used to say: 1. No 2L no tok, look now most cars selling are 1.5L turbo 2. No petrol no tok (electric cars are nonsense), look how petrol cars are about to be banned in SG 3. No RWD no tok, look how the shift to FWD is taking place in the big three and technology is making RWD obsolete for normal citi driving 4. No conti no tok, look at how Europe is going bankrupt and they are lagging behind in technology 5. No Europe not conti, LOL at this stewpig statement! Obviously by an old fart! The bottom line is, some people are just too old and stubborn to move on with technology and prefers to be stuck with their age old thinking. Just let them be. Nuff said. The stupid lock set on the steering wheel. I suspect it haas to do with the steering lock mechanism. 2 option. 1. Buy a use steering lock set and use 2 keys. one to start the car and the remote to lock unlock and use the second key to open the lock manually on the door. opt 2. order the lock set from Germany . 600 dollars all in with VCS recoding and ording because, security item, WS cannot order.
