Will you give way to MP (military Police) when their siren is on?

My colleague asked me a question just now. He said a MP bike waved his car to a side as there was some big tonner behind wanna pass (the MP was obviously escorting the tonner),he said he didnt bother him. Do you think we have to give way to them? My answer is yes. What is yours?

Back then in NS time, land rover on siren no one bother to give way also. Guess if it's not a police or ambulance, most ppl bo chap. Best part was even with siren on, SAF vehicle kena chased by TP & LL had to pull over at road shoulder.

technically, MP dun have such powers on public roads during peace time. only police will have such powers to control traffic...

 

tats why law had to be passed recently to allow military officers to detain and arrest suspected terrorists or suspicious persons...

bascially even if there's no siren, a vehicle request to a clear why, I don't see why we can't oblige unless our butt is on our head..
