I heard from the radio that there is indeed a Travel Malaysia going on this weekend! Perhaps there are two of them, one in Suntec and one in Expo around Nov.

I thought it's "OPEN SEASON" for criminals? No joke. They even go on the offensive on their own police. That's what u get for hiring fat, lazy and corrupted polisman.

All the more reason to go to places like Terengannu. PAS in control there. Steal from SGer or anyone, hand chop off. Sure cuts the crime down there. Pun intended.

I found the Ancasa Package not bad, no surcharge for peak seaons and it is nett price. I bought a 5+1 from them which is valid for one year. So next trip, I will go for PD, Penang and KL for about 5 nights.

You must know. Ancasa is a service apartment. Small restaurant, pool and not much amenities. It is good if you got a big family and a hotel room (or rooms) cost too much.

 

Generally, service apartments in MY are cheaper.

You are right. I'm bringing a family of 5 so an All Suite Apartment suits me better lah. Ancasa PD not too bad right? the swimming pool size quite ok and the beach is just behind. The important thing to me is must have a kiddy club in a resort. They have just built a new wing facing closer to the sea and I will be trying it out in late Nov. So any plan for your next trip?

The beach is behind but disappointing. Drive off somewhere along PD for the beach.

 

No trips planned out yet. The firefly trip was last one of which someone here took the info and went as well. He reports it is very fulfilling. The firefly viewing was worth it.

I checked with Ancasa booth staff. They told me that are 2 fairs, sama sama one. October in Suntec and Nov one in Expo. October one probably to catch school holidays crowd and Nov one to catch Chinese New Year crowd.
