i think most of us definition of sports rim is more accurately "alloy rims" as specified in many car dealers ads

eg, freebies : alloy rims, remote alarm etc.....

alloy rim basically are not steel rims, steel rims are those on the old crown taxis, or on cars usually covered with a plastic wheel cover (or hub cap, or wheel cap etc, this one also many names)

im also on steel rims, my reasons:

- i park carelessly, scrape here and there, dont want heart pain if scratch expensive sport rims

- i only point A-B driver, so handling and what-knot is irrelevant to me, stock is good enough

- stock tire size, cheaper when replacing tire

- last but not least, i just cant be bothered [sunny]

Try telling a Jap , American or a EC guys about sport rims, they will be laughing like mad men.To them there is no such thing as sport rims - only Singkie call them sport rims. Actually they are just decorative alum alloy rims.
