the dashboard looks very complicated. almost like a fighter jet!!! too complicated i think... nobody needs to have 100 things on the pre-flight checklist before they can move out of the driveway.

 

the cupholder thing is to coverup the central transmission tunnel? so this thing RWD?

 

It looks alright in that sense. You've got the buttons to choose what displays, below that is the audio controls, then a/c controls and just below that three extra for the attesa system. The steering wheel has some basic audio and bluetooth controls on the left and cruise control on the right. There isnt that much extra. I kinda like the attesa control switches coz its very "race spec" in that its using toggle switches like a real race car.

 

The car is a rear-biased awd.

Its a sports car not a grocery getter. Of course it only sits 2 at the rear (midget sized people only as well)

The centre console looks way too complicated. Like they went mad with push buttons and switches. It reminds me of a mid-90s home hifi system, that matt grey finish, large centre LCD (of course the hifi was monochrome), and lots of slider switches dials to turn and buttons to push. Too fussy.

 

It sure isn't typical Japanese minimalist Zen/Type-R simplicity sort of approach.

 

Most of it is necessary or would be placed elsewere anyway. I'd rather all my buttons within one area. The only thing is that they should have gotten rid of the buttons for the display and run with a touch-screen instead, but i guess with buttons its easier to choose settings on the fly.

Ooh... it looks like i might have been wrong about the buttons directly under the display. The display is touchscreen! The three "buttons" on the left (its actually 2 buttons) are for wing angle control. I'm assuming the "three" on the right are for the damper control (but i won't know till an english version comes out or i learn to read jap).

Yeah I think its pretty damn amazing as well. But changing from my current car to that... its sorta like a step down in terms of glam factor but definitely a step up in terms of speed and such... decisions decisions
