Bodykit with mud flaps

Need some opinion of brothers and sisters here. [:)] My ride has original bodykit but I went to install mud flaps behind the wheels.... Aftermarket ones lah..... I have this recurring problem of the mud flaps at my rear bumper coming out every time I reverse until my rear bumper touches the parking lot end. [sweatdrop] And I got to screw them back. [hur]

Reason I put the mud flaps on my bodykit is to prevent dust, sand and maybe mud on my kit... [hur]

Thinking of removing the rear mud flaps but might as well remove all the front and rear mud flaps to be even..... [gossip]

I notice that all new cars nowadays do not have mud flaps or mud guards and they look nicer but dunno whether the bumpers front and rear will get dirtied by the sand, dust and mud..... [shakehead]

Some people told me bodykit with mud flaps look a bit very bengz..... [sly]

Need some comments and opinion of brothers and sisters here. Thanks! [flowerface]

I think it makes a diff. like what u had mentioned. I did the same on my previous ride and encountered the same problem. [laugh]

Now my ride(dun have bodykit) have original mud guards front and rear. They are design in such a way that it traps the sand & dirt etc and it's easy to wash away.

If the they are not there, dirt/sand can get trap to the insides of your rear bumper. Water and sand can cause abrasion to your paintwork and the wear starts from underneath your rear bumper.

Thanks for your advice.

Original mud flaps are designed specially by the car manufacturers for your ride. [thumbsup]

To a certain extent, I agree with you. [thumbsup] But eventually I removed my mud flaps and diffusers under my bodykit completely. [crazy] Cos I discovered that my mud flaps and diffusers are not original and not for my ride specially.[lipsrsealed]

I discovered a lot of dirt and mud trapped around my sideskirts [sweatdrop] and the area behind the mud flaps.... [thumbsdown] I managed to go to a car bay and use jets of water to spray clean all the affected areas... [sunny]

But in everything we experience, we learn something. Thanks for your advice. [thumbsup]

I have my mud flaps done in JB.

The first installer did a lousy job. Just like you, the rear flaps always dropped, and worst still, the screw MIA.

Went back again, this time a supervisor took care of it. Since then, no more problem.

I reckon we need to screw the bolt in some angle, not straight into the body kit.
