Used had similar issue after I replaced my front shock absorbers. It was loose after the installation then went to another workshop tighten. No issue thereafter.

it is the same as mine, 08 as well. My workshop said it could be steering rack or steering joint. I changed the join first 200+, but the sound came again after 1 month.  What about your transmission, do you feel it is a bit lagged? Thank you

2015 Allion is rare, I believe it has LED rear lamps and LED headlamps, steering buttons for audio etc.

Does it has cruise control?

Hi, my  Pi dealer never bring in G+, so only 1 selection G package.
Head light normal yellow light, as for rear lamp only the brake light is LED. For cruise control  we can just install a original Toyota cruise control will do as inside there are pre wire. I can said that the internal is way nicer than altis.

Hi guys

Considering a used COE model for daily chores and transporting babies/kids.

Is the backseat spacious for 2 baby seats
any issues with the CVT?
trouble with maintenance/getting parts as its MIJ
floating if 120-140kmph if going up north

And lastly any fb or groups can join to find out more. Thanks!

Used to have an Axio in the fam, though its similar to the Allion.

It is very reliable with gearbox (should be the same) not giving up even at 200k.

Some in MCF drove to 300k and a taxi went up to 400+k without significant issues, though wear is a certain in the interior.

In terms of width...forget it.

Its as wide as the Honda Jazz to avoid extra tax in Japan, so I doubt that someone could seat in between 2 baby seats.

For spare parts, engine parts are aplenty for the 1.5L 1NZ-FE engine. As long old Vios (NCP93) is available in MY, parts are never an issue. Suspension and body parts are however most likely different.

Floating wise, I dont know for the Allion, and I dont dare to drive fast.

Had a Fielder (Axio with wagon boot) and Allion for about 4 years in total. As shared here, the width is narrow, so with 2 baby seats yes can fit, but you'll have to occupy both side seats and only a wee bit of the centre will be available to put barang. Cannot squeeze in a third adult if you're wondering.

The CVT takes getting used to, but when you do, it can actually pickup fast (as fast as a 1.5 can go la) but it tends to want to keep the revs low unless you stomp really hard. The CVTs last really long. I was using examples with about 150k km and no sign of issues, can race regular 1.6 cars easily if stepping hard.

120 and above? yes definitely floaty if all stock. the famous lifeless steering doesn't help either.

But just to go A to B around Singapore, why not.
