macrosszero Turbocharged October 11, 2007 Share October 11, 2007 (edited) Got clear cut regulation. White headlight bulbs are legal down to a certain Kelvin temperature (I don't know, because my bulbs are stock). A decent workshop would be able to tell you what's legal. With regard to number plates you can refer to this link: http://www.onemotoring.com.sg/publish/onem...ence_plate.html Edited October 11, 2007 by Macrosszero
Zakuii 1st Gear October 12, 2007 Share October 12, 2007 In my opinion , i think that drivers who ON their fog light is ok as long as its not the glaring type ( example my mazda3 sport ) and when i ON it the headlight seems to out glare the fog light and i dunno what can it do in bad weather condition except for other driver to see 2 extra lights down there , as for those drivers who ON their rear fog light , i personally think that its really and the glare can really blind the view of driver behind . It is not ok to on fog lights when there is no dense fog. In fact, it is an offence to turn on the fog lights under normal situation.
Wish1719 1st Gear October 12, 2007 Share October 12, 2007 actually the one to be blamed is the mechanics or the one who fixed up the fog lamp. If you would have notice, some cars when switched on the headlights also glares into the front car's rear mirror. If the fog lights or headlights are fixed properly, non of these glaring stuff will happen.
Taggy 1st Gear October 12, 2007 Share October 12, 2007 i kinda agree to this... personally i am not bother when the car behind me turn on fog light or white light, as long as dun shine into my rear mirror. Some cars no fog light, but their headlights are irritating enough. I wonder does the driver know that their lights are irritating or not... How to check if my headlights are irritating others....? Smiley Neutral Newbie October 12, 2007 Author Share October 12, 2007 headlights should not unless it is on high beam. but do agree that many people are illegally fixing up non standard bulbs.

Wish1719 1st Gear October 12, 2007 Share October 12, 2007 you can send your car to your mechanic, have it check or the other way is just turn on your headlight in any mscp, step out of your car to see if the lights are shining evenly, i suppose... Wish1719 1st Gear October 12, 2007 Share October 12, 2007 bro, i've seen quite a number of cars with their headlight not properly done, meaning one shining normally while the other is shining upwards(directly hiting the front car's rear mirror). Infact, i'm not actually irritated by those with their fog lights on.

Wish1719 1st Gear October 18, 2007 Share October 18, 2007 not sure if you dives often at night, but some cars are the opposite, the driver's side is shinning up instead of what you say lower on the driver's side. in which the case , that irritates your sights
