URGENT Help!! ERP IU SPOILT! no light, no reading... where to repair or replace?

yes its 5 yrs warranty for the IU.

But for those who bought from PIs, beware, the IU often is recycled from their deregistered trade in cars and so maybe older than 5 yrs !

 

U sure boh...AFAIK..every IU upon installation are programmed to tt particular vehicle, it cannot be transfered...

normally the current is tapped frm the fuse box...chk the cable line...there's a canister case for the fuse

Lets say I've had 1st hand experience. And I dun think its an isolated case.

FYI, the IU can be transferred between cars, just that there are some procedures to follow. See Qn 40.

Makes me wonder why some PIs will bother just to save the $150 cost of a new IU.
