I think he mentioned in one of the interviews that he can sell 4,000 Kali Pok a day. This may strike the IRAS's mind!

 

I think he plead for light punishment for saying he is old, ignorance, sole manager of the business and health reasons..

Actually that not quite right. The working class can evade tax, cos we just fill in the form or file via internet & IRAS do not require the IR8a declaration now.

 

However, if you kena caught, then u pay minimum 3x more + jail term.

I think it's more like PM 'sabo' him by mentioning him in his speech. People in IRAS must be thinking that they don't remember handling their taxes and decided to check their record....since the puff biz is supposed to be doing so well that PM included them in his speech.

cannot be la. cos like that the PM is actually saboing himself becuase the IRAS is a statutory board under the Ministry of Finance which he is heading (he is holding dual appointments, PM and Minister for Finance).

That's true. yesterday i went to tip top, sold out at 6PM. Saturday better, sold out at 3PM. I hear they sold 3000 kali pok on sat.

 

my friend buy some home only to be scolded by his mother.. why buy from tax evader? cannot support this type people..
