This high court judge should be investigated as well.

This is a case of left hand (NTUC) hitting right hand (also NTUC) and when both start punching each other, the body of a passer-by kanna punch in the face... and both hands sue the passer-by for hurting their fists, after an abitrator awarded the passer-by medical fee....... [:|]

If this happens in US or some other human rights countries, Anti-Lucy may be facing damages for causeing stress to the plantiff, his wife, his unborn child, and causing bad name to the whole judiciary system.... who knows.... maybe the high court judge may be sue for making stupi* ruling that causes the appeal court to see such joke happening in their backyard..... hmm..... maybe the plantiff should be awarded $1000 for everyday since 18mths ago? [idea]

In my view, I think both hands sue the passer-by for failing to stop the fight which led to the abitrator awarding the passer-by medical fee for injuries after been usesd as a punching bag. [sly][sly]

actually, i hope such case will open up the can of worms and someone has to answer for it.....(just like durian case, due to suing the wrong party, the worms can was exposed..).....it's healthy to have "market correction" from time to time..... [:p]

This case is quite similar to the one at Marshall Road where the owner received summons for parking infront of his own gate. His appeal lawyer make representation but lost the case. Two $50/- fine ended paying court fee of $50,000/-. If the lawyer had adviced him that the front of his gate is still a public property and the land after the gate is his private property, he might just pay the fine. [sly][sly]

It's good that we finally real justice. Mr Lock's effort has paid off. But he is the minority. I bet not many of us will go so far...take legal suit against an established organizations and his own lawyer...risking going bankrupt when his wife is about to give birth.

actually whole things looks bad for NTUC, cos both parties are insured by them and still end up like that. no wonder new CEO has to come out and say something.
