Yes traffic situation is not good cause they are building the bridge and is causing the traffic to go hay wire. If you are stuck at caltex it can go as long as 1 hour. Even when i go come out during 2am in the morning you can see a short queue waiting to leave MY.

 

I think Sat and Sun Grocery trip can be cancelled or USe Public Transport. I personnally feel it is faster.....

Went in through causeway last tuesday 10am (trip to Klang). Smooth without much cars. Came back 2nd link friday 5pm. Not much cars too except slow traffic on spore side immigration.....

left jb at about 8pm yesterday, took about 15-20 mins from caltex to singapore exit

not really that bad during that hour

went in on last sunday, at abt 11.30am

singapore to jb, cleared causeway in about 50mins

 

back, using the lorry custom route at jb, 10mins clear

causeway no jam, clear singapore immigration and custom

in 5mins

that was about 8.15pm

 

luckily the return was not as bad.

 

think it's going to be hari raya period, and thus the jam?

yes. Confirm + chop. Was stuck in e jam for an hour or so.

I just came back yesterday.

 

Sg to Jb, at 4pm, very smooth.

 

Jb to Sg, at 8pm, encounter abt 20 mins jam. Stick to the extreme left lane, faster IMO.

if already in JB, dont use 2nd link via angsana

 

last sat it takes me nearly 2hrs from larkin to the slip road to taman perling

the jam was terrible

 

found out...they are building a bridge down there

3 lane become 1 lane

 

 

so if die die must use 2nd link

go via carrefour route

JB causeway traffic is very erratic..... like there was a horrible jam at 6:30pm on Monday. Took me like 2 hours to get past JB customs and Sgp side was clear.

 

Then yesterday only....... 5 mins to clear JB customs at 7pm........ but Sgp customs jam till under the giant screen and very slow to clear....... took like 40 mins just to get through.

 

So I'd say... depends on your luck lah.....

At 11pm it's still jam. All the way till the bridge after Komtar Complex.
