i think it's the whole package.

 

we have only heard this Ocean guy sing. never seen him act, host, dance, joke, talk cxxk or anything else. so only 2 things about him for the public to enjoy - voice and looks, each 50%. if looks cannot make it, minus 50%. left 50% for the voice. 50% how to survive?? i think that was why it turned the way it did.

 

unlike other singers. some can't sing, but can act, dance, joke, and host. if singing cannot make it, minus 20% only. the 4 other talents they have give them 80% so they survived even though they are singers who can't sing.

ya i agree... i do not think his voice cmi... but it kind of giving pple a wrong image of him when he launch his first 2 album... with those knid of sweet love song together with the anime 'boy' and 'guo mei mei look alike girl' in the MTV, pple tends to believe he is an young 'cute' or goodlooking male singer... it does bring to a surprise when he reveal his true identity... he turns out to be an 'uncle' infact, and if i do not remember wrongly he brought his wife along too...

 

so now he is launching his 3rd album, but i'm quite surprise that they are still using the same publicity package again!! even after pple already know how his looks like....

 

wonder how this album sales gonna be??

Chen Lei, Ah Kei La, Cai Xiao Hu all avg looking but their voice very power. Still very popular too.

 

[nod][nod] yes but look at what type of songs they are singing... it's kind of matching their image... like the 'build ship' guy, his voice dam power, looks cmi but pple like him cause his songs very power and it does matches with him

so now got one more new guy that came into this biz... cant remember his name but he is able to sing a very high pitch.... surprise that he was some 38 yr old liao...look also so so... wonder how far can he go....

somehow i sense he is not comfortable to be in public view. that cld be one of the reasons why he is not active in performing "live"
