Traveling 3hrs there and stay one night like quite waste leg.

You can go to the Hua Hin Vineyard.

For seafood, there are many seafood restaurant inside the Hua Hin night market. Price much cheaper than those along the beach.

Kapunkap.

I dont drink wine and dont drink and drive so not interested in the vineyard. Just wana explore places outside BKK. Will be my first time there.

Who knows, if i like the place, maybe can plan a road trip there in future.

Not necessary to drink wine there. But the scenery on the way there is quite nice. Will pass by big pineapple plantation, the vineyard scenery also nice for some photo taking.

Photo are pineapple farm along the way.

Back from Hua Hin. Stayed only one night so not much photos.

Visited the beach upon reaching. Rent car from BKK airport and drove there. 3 hrs drive including jams. The beach is filled with activities, lots of kite surfing and got horse riding also. The sandy beach is very short only.

I asked hotel staff where to park at the night market, he told me either at the temple or railway station. Roadside parking difficult to find lots. So I managed to find the railway station.

Walked the night market and decided to settle for one of the many seafood restaurants. Prices were quite reasonable. The prawns were huge, 1,200 baht/kg. Chose 3 big ones and weigh 500g in total. Kim Bar Lor fish was 300 baht per fish. Cooked in lemon sauce, nice.

Huge durian at the fruits stalls. Not sure what breed. Too full to eat them.

Supper was omelette and pork ball. The pork ball got soft bones one. Keep spitting out the bones as I chew.

My wife complained that we should have stayed at least 3 nites. Got outlet stores and Santorini land which we never get to visit. U told her next time.

I told you earlier that 1 night not enough.

Good place for relaxing. Less crowded compare to phuket. Food also much cheaper.

I know what you mean.

I stayed at Putahracsa Hua Hin. Can refer to my earlier post on pg 2.

Small boutique hotel. Excellent service.

Yup. Hua Hin is a family orientated beach resort. No sleazy agogo bar at all. Nice place to just chill. Food was surprisingly cheap. Even the mall crowd was in chill mood.

Definately will return. Just a short drive from BKK.

why not rent a car and drive south? prachuap kiri khan has quite a long water front. Can explore, esp if staying 2 nites.

Rent a car and drive.

U will need a car to visit the various places of interest like theme park, outlet mall, night market, malls and temples if you interested. Also the vineyard that @tohto mentioned that i never visit.

Its a nice family-friendly area. Spend at least 2 nights there. Seafood is cheaper there, remember to order the giant prawns. Fish also cheap, standard price, not by weight.
