I have seen this short man (on TV) dribbling past many defenders to put the ball into the post, effortlessly. I was impressed.

i never really seen both of them play as i'm in different era from them.

but i think pele is the best footballer ever. i mean both has proven to be the best footballer at all time. just like gerrard and lampard.

 

maradona is also famous for the hand of god goal. whereby pele is good in and off pitch. a humble footballer. unlike maradona. fighting on pitch drugs alcohol. not a very good example. abilities is not only base on skill but on where little minor things.

I go for maradona...and I think many who are old enough to watch the 86 world cup will agree with me that Maradona single handedly won Argentina the cup. The whole team was very average and if without him, they would have knocked out in either group stage or second round.

I find Pele to be a more complete player and he has great skill...tho his style of play is so 'old fashion' compared to Maradonna.
