Extinguisher 6th Gear September 26, 2007 Share September 26, 2007 Hi guys, to use our electrical appliance items in USA (San francisco, las vegas), is it sufficient to just use an adapter? or do i need to use some kind of converter since USA power outlet is 110V? And is it using the 2 blade adapter or the 2 blades and 1 pin above? Thanks =) ↡ Advertisement

Bearbear1494 Clutched September 26, 2007 Share September 26, 2007 Check the appliances that you'd be using there. If there is a marking/sticker that says 110-240v or has a switch to select the voltage, then all you need is a plug adaptor. If it's only 230-240v, then you'll need a step-up transformer in addition to the plug adaptor. USA mains plug is the 2 blade type. ↡ Advertisement
