Due to short of supply, now iphone is almost 900 plus (16gb).

 

Good:

 

a)The touch interface is unlike normal touch phone. I think they use electrical resistance - so if screen oily still can operate. If you try to use stylus on iphone cannot work. (That what i hear)

 

b)Auto rotate picture in landscape and portrait.

 

c)The games are different- The ball rolls if you tilt the phone.

 

d)Steve Jobs says: It not just a phone, it changes your lifestyle.

 

e) Video You tube streaming is very good.

 

 

Bad:

 

f) Cannot forward sms

 

g) Bluetooth can only work with ear piece, cannot transfer files to other phones except ihpone

 

h) camera 2mp only

 

i) no 3g

 

j) cannot upgrade crack firmware

 

k) heavy

 

l) no support for 1k investment

 

m) wireless cannot connect to WPA,

 

Hope it help, and I don't sell iphone, and my facts could be wrong cos i don't own one.

 

U can forward and mass sms wif iphone....jus need to know where to get the plug in...

U can even record video....i'm using now....jus need to know where to look...

Ok...every iphone got this app store.

If u buy form singtel, u can use the app store to d/l either free or pay...

If u using hack iphones u can either install cydia or whatever to d/l...

 

Anyway 2.1 version of iphones are not hackable...yet. ;)

2G phones on 2.1 FW can both unlock and jailbreak

Yes, I'm using 2G with 2.1 FW now. A bit more complex to install but no complications during installation.

 

Interestingly, I have a colleague who and have a 2G and uses Singtel line. During the process of upgrading to FW 2.1, first you will need to upgrade it thru the iTunes app which should lock the phone again after FW upgrade. However, he could use it immediately! He just need to jailbreak the phone. I suspect that the FW upgrade will just recognize the phone's subscriber's telco. If Singtel is detected, regardless of 2G or 3G, it will be unlocked by default

So long as you jailbreak it, you'll get the cydia installer.... That being said, if you buy the phone from singtel and use it as is, you'll still need to jailbreak it.

u jailbreak it lah n it will solve all the iphone problem.

there r thousands of apps that are not in itunes. very wonderful apps. only can get by jailbreaking.

I like the iphone but is put off by its low 2 mega pixel camera. The camera feature is quite important to me as I need to take impromptu photos on and off at times. Been checking new phones lately and is torn between Nokia E71, Samsung Omnia and the I LG Renoir (8 mega pixel cam) Any other phones to recommend? :) (sorry a bit off topic)
