Speed Trap for Bus...

Was driving along Holland Road this morning and saw a SBS Transit van at the side of the road... The person was holding a radar gun and aiming at the buses that pass by over there... Was slightly after Pandan Valley on the opposite side... Anybody else have seen them anywhere else?

I've seen them on Nicoll Highway b4.... Even buses have the Need for Speed...

You must agree that sometimes buses are faster than cars... Some of them also damn super reckless...

Eh bro. I've seen them all over the island leh. On bikes and vans painted in SBS Transit colours.

 

Confirm they only zapping buses? Or LTA outsourced again?

Might be... They are getting more and more creative liao... But I think they just for the buses...

I would think so... Since they are from SBS Transit so naturally one would assume that they are aiming at the buses...

Dun try racing them at Nicholl Highway, they have done "Bus Rally" there before.

But sometimes the bus drivers do it as no one ever give way to them... So no choice lor, they have to be garang a bit...

If we are taking bus, we wish some of the buses could go faster. Sometimes, buses are so ahead of schedule that towards the end of the trip, they travel very slow and try to wait for the traffic light to turn red so that they can drag the time.

Actually all they have to do is wait a bit.

 

I do notice some drivers (including myself sometimes) do give way to Buses if the situation permits so.

 

Rather than they try to squeeze their way out and cause accidents.
