Eddie47 Neutral Newbie September 19, 2007 Share September 19, 2007 Dear bros, I just changed my car to a Honda Ody. As I'm trading in my current car, I'll be transplanting the current speakers to my brother's car. However, I'm thinking of keeping the sub, but I wonder if it can fit into the car as the boot space is small. Btw, can any bros suggest how to improve the OEM setup that comes with the ody as the Hu is integrated compared to my current car. Thanks in advance. ↡ Advertisement
Ikeehc Clutched September 19, 2007 Share September 19, 2007 Are you talking about a new ody? I sat in the previous model b4 and the trunk seemed rather small when all the 7 seats are up. Try going to http://sgsoundsystem.com/forum/ Perhaps someone driving an ody might be able to advise u. good luck!
Sony 1st Gear September 19, 2007 Share September 19, 2007 1) take measurement of your sub and see if it fit the boot of your ody.... When you do installation, don't hard fix it. so that when you need the small little boot space, you can remove the sub. 2) call up your installer and ask. I'm sure they did ody before and can advise you better.
Eddie47 Neutral Newbie September 21, 2007 Author Share September 21, 2007 Thks, guys. I did some agarration and think that the basslink is too big for the little boot space that I have as I need to take note of the folding of the 3rd row. Probably, i will need to get rid of it and get those slim type.
Sony 1st Gear September 21, 2007 Share September 21, 2007 being an MPV, those slim type might not give you the oomph... you want want to go for better component speaker for the front (on the asssumption that your rear is not really the impt) or have those slim type located under the front seat ↡ Advertisement
