Hi......

went to the workshop to check whether basic modification will affect the validity of the warranty...........The answer was "Its depend on case by case basis"......There is no fast rules to say that changing K&N filter will void your warranty......the technical officer told me that if changing spark plugs should be ok, however, if it is not install properly or not done correctly, theu may need to take a look at the warranty again......

My opinion is to stay simple til the warranty expires before start to do basic mod......Moreover, new car performance tends to be better at the begining stage...So just sit back and relax first lorrrr

Tat's right. The basic rule is, during warranty, anything you do outside would be good enough for them to void it but again it depend, say you change outside rims, and your car get overheated, so it is under warranty, but if the alignment runs, then they will starts their story...... [:)]

as i know its base on what we changed will not be under warranty.eg:change from stock 14' rims to 16' rims.so it will not under the warranty for those rims n suspensions but the engine is still under warranty.thats the most important, rite?

Their golden rule is....During warranty period, the car must be fully maintained by authorised workshop only, and tis include any fitting of body parts and accessories etc, failing whioch MAY render the warranty viod........ [:/]

Well I guess its work like suspension of D/L, you commit offence while using m/cycle, they got the rights to revoke just cl.2 or the whole of cl.2/3/4/5.....teo bo??? [confused]

Hi there

What car do you drive? I used to drive a Santa Fe and less than 3 months into the new ownership, Komoco techs and mechs were amazed by the car's performance. I did a little magic underhood and I got 8.5km/L for a 1.8MT vehicle.

Regards
