Where to get old-style Lanterns?

Seems like the Mooncake festival lanterns I see nowadays are all battery-powered blow-up thingies with that irritating bleating tune.

 

Does anyone know where to find good old-fashioned wire-and-translucent plastic/paper lanterns, the kind you used to see when you were young. OK, assuming you're in your thirties . We used to get all sorts of large, elaborate designs, real craftsmanship!

 

For the safety-conscious - I've bought bundles of light-sticks (the kind you use in the army) - bright, colourful, heat-and-danger-free

Maybe the more traditional shops at Chinatown might still have them.

r u referring to those lanterns with wire frames and coloured cellophane wrappers like the ones below?

Just saw at Sheng Siong yesterday at Clementi West. Quite cheap.
