Shops that can repair deep dish rims

Does anyone know of any place that can repair the dish on those deep dish rims, where the rim is finished in chrome. I repeat, in chrome.

 

I know people send their kerbed dish rims to shops and grind away the edges. But I believe this cannot be done if the dish(or lip) is chromed or painted right?

My Hyperblack rim was repaired at Sze Kang spray painting at AMK Autopoint, the finish looks a little like chrome.

 

Repaired area is not as glossy as original but you have to really look hard to spot the difference, overall a job well done and price is reasonable.

 

Why don't you drive down and have them assess the damaged area?

 

For my rim, they used a black undercoat and several different tints to match the original finish.

Oh thanks ! Well I am not on such rims at the moment, but may get these. Concern is how good damaged dish can be restored. One guy I spoke to who sell these rims say the dish can be removed, sent back to overseas agent for repair n then send back here .

The LIP or DISH as we call it, appears to be mostly in chrome finish. If it was just a polished finish with no paint, I agree damaged areas can be grind off. But if it is painted or chromed, who can repair and restore to original condition if kena kerbed. Can be done?

Quite tough searching for one,i doubt normal spray paint tat do repair of rims can do chroming.

Even so, outsource ur rims to do dip chroming,but the quality of the chrome is questionable.

alloy impossible to chrome. he only do chroming on steel. i went & asked him before.
