Challenge LTA tint film rule?

this morning I saw a civic front screen tint film same as rear tint film, totally couldn't see the driver from outside , cool man

is it considered Challenge LTA tint film rule?

wonder anyone has the experience that was catched by LTA due to tint film too dark? if not, try to bet luck, change front tint to deep dark too[:p]

Yes, LTA or TP can catch if they want. I guess it will also failed the inspection as well. It you are lucky then nobody will border.

aiya, maybe he is the tint-window shop boss. Just replace it before inspection.

I tink nowadays car front/rear windows are really dark

how much will be fined if spotted by TP?

is there any number or email to report the case

They're just trying their luck. One day when they get caught by ROV on the roads also LL.

 

I think the fine is $35 per pc. Not 100% sure though.

I know.But the chances are much lower compare to direct fail when go for inspection.

if LTA make inspection a yearly affair, the number of illegal mod is going to reduce by a lot, many owners seems to make use of this "loophole" for all kinds of illegal mods

Even if yearly inspection also once a yr only, the rest of the days are safe.

 

For ROV/TP, you see them got only once a yr or not?

you see them for say twice a month,but they spot you too?The chances that they spotted you is quite rare.

If you mod your car, you see them, chances are they'll see you, assuming that you're both on the same road, not adjacent or whatever. Sometimes don't even need to see, from a distance away they can hear and come. They're not that dumb you know. It's just a matter of whether they want to stop you, or they're too busy booking others to stop you.

Why give LTA a reason to stop u? No point. Then they start to check other stuff like HID etc. For some cars like mine, it came in stock and its dark. Even that has to pass LTA rules!
