Hi Bros

Orderd a stream from KM recently and offered "special price" $489 to install window film for all glass. Can choose RiteCool or Nanolux. Needs bros to advise which is better. The SE says Ritecool is better.

Also, is price really "special"?

Thanks!

Can't negotiate for free? I got it for free, I chose Nanolux though. Heard some negative comments from friends about Rikecool though noboby knows about the quality of Nanolux.

The price is indeed "special". [shakehead] Your SE is rather vague in the definition of "better" - better branding? better quality? better film performance?

??

Skip the offers from KM. You will be able to install films of better performance (higher IR rejection rate) from installers which are less prominently featured in advertorials and advertisements.

If you value material, performance, quality workmanship and ease of warranty claims over branding, I would recommend you get a quotation from Tintsycool. There are several positive reviews which can be found on the Net.

Those SE are getting special price?$489 is a BS to me.. maybe they only get $250.. then tell u $489..I have my rikecool from them, under the sun machiam like no filmunsure.gif

if $489,i would rather try 3M and ask how much,i think they have better filmnod.gif

what you can do,ask for free film from KM and tell them you go and fix it yrself, then when you go there, ask for higher grade film and see how much you need to top up..this is what i did to my jazz

why dun u ask the SE for the technical specification of the film installed? every company all have diff grades.

if he cannot provide, think maybe go for other freebies.. not the films,

for window films, take outside to do.. for $489, u can get entry level- midrange solar film from V-kool, 3M, HuperOptic. Which are more reputable brands.

I jus called nanolux and quoted $556 to $1000 plus for mpv

depending on grade... so at $489 still slightly cheaper.

Is there any good brand around this range? Nanolux has a

website but cant find the Ritecool site for a quote...

anyone knows?

Also, thinking of using those tint that complies with

msia law in case i drive there but SE say those are too

light...any comments? tks!

By the way, film was not in the freebies list coz

I force the SE to change the player to one with ceiling mounted DVD (Alpine brand with 8' screen) to close the deal

Price $76k nett (bs eon last COE, now price rose to 79k)

hope i got a gd deal man... [sweatdrop]
