Hullo everyone!

I know this is a car forum but can some kind soul out there tell me whether is it possible to get to the Budget Terminal using MRT?

There is a sky train that links T1 and T2 but I don't think there is a link to BT correct? Does that mean that I got to walk from the MRT station?

I don't mind walking if it not too far but in view of the wet weather lately, is it like a sheltered walkway or must brave the elements type?

ya.. it's free.. once you are out of MRT, there will be signage to guide you to the bus. Think frequency is quite short.. like 5 -10 mins per bus. better than those you need to pay [:p]

Thanks for the info! I will go check it out.

Maybe I should start a new thread, "Anyone know where to catch the free shuttle service to BT?"

Kekekekeke...

they provide round trips 24hrs every day [:)] daytime frequency ard 10-15mins, meaning the bus comes, u wait in the bus ard 10-15mins before the bus leaves for BT.

shuttle bus to and fro is free one. just tat if the terminal got staff rotation sometime a bit squeeze. otherwise no issue. budget terminal is still convenient.

got aircon and metal racks to put ur luggage. depending on the driver, sometimes they play nice music [laugh] the buses come quite fast, it's just that they wait for passengers for 15mins (they strictly look at the clock in the buses [laugh] ) before leaving for BT. same goes for the return trip to T2.

Oic.....

Ok, here is what I gathered so far:

1. From MRT, follow signs to BT Shuttle Service

2. Shuttle Service starts from T2

3. Waiting time is approx. 10-15mins (including waiting in Bus)

4. Brings me straight to BT, sure wun kena rain. [thumbsup]

5. From BT, I can take the same shuttle service back to MRT.

6. And MOST IMPORTANTLY: IT is FREE!

Awesome!

Coming back from airport always kena surcharge so I am thinking it makes most sense to take MRT since my house is accessible by MRT.

yea it's quite comfortable anyways, depending on the time of day [:p]

oh ya, there's no canteen at BT, only Han's and a few snacks shops.

Cool!!!!

How about from BT back to MRT? I presume they do provide return trips also right?

Ya, obviously after they drop people off at Cheapo Terminal, they will bring those that just landed at cheapo terminal.

BTW, I fly tiger at times but I like to call it cheapo terminal rather than BT. I'm still very much disturb by the amt of $$$ they spend to get people to find the best name for the terminal [:p][laugh]
