Maybe not newspaper, rather the car dealers who want more and more people to buy.

With ther recent let up of importing in used cars, there is this possibility that those on the sidelines may also jump in.,...thus pushing up COEs

To import the used car, some surcharge or tax of $10k applied, so the news said only high end used car will be imported. If high end used car is imported, it certainly sway away some people who want to buy brand new Merc.... I think the demand willback to square.

 

I think who who wait, likely want a Cat A car while those used car are likely Cat B cars. $10K tax is a lot.
