Weihui Clutched August 17, 2007 Share August 17, 2007 Maybe the hotels have not started making them. Mooncake with yam paste can't be kept for long, need to be consumed within a week otherwise the paste will go bad. Hotel will not start making them so early as market consumption is still low now, my guess only
Adwin Neutral Newbie August 17, 2007 Share August 17, 2007 Agreed... it will easily go bad. Wait for one to two weeks later. The market would be flooded with them. Also look out for the bazaar at takashimaya square. it should be there everyyear at about this time. Anyway, my personal recommendation is from Dragon phoenix restaurant. Fresh from the oven everday.
