10-Aug-2007 i was at sheng song supermarket buying some household items. after paying and walking a few step to the car-park a man wearing business shirt and pants. briefcase and a big gold watch. (rolex) with blue tooth on using a nokia n70.

came to me. the 1st word he say is. don't worry i'm not here to make any sale or what.

"i come all the way from china yesterday. and my luggage has been stolen. right now i do not have any place to say. I'm a manager in china of a jewelery company. u can't expect a manager to roam the night tonight right". he say

 

he say don't worry i will not shortchange you. my parents will be flying in from china tomorrow morning to fetch me and will pay you back double. next time you come china Nanjing you can come my house and be a guest.

 

so i ask. you travel all the way here alone?

 

he say with my wife but she broke the crystal ball and is now with the business partner in Singapore to settle.

so i say just now u say u lose your luggage now u say your wife broke the crystal ball. so what happen.

 

"i just need a place to stay tonight and btw what much is a cheapest hotel here." i say around 60 bucks at Chinatown.

i gave him $10 as i show him i only left with 10. he accept it and say can u give me some more?i'm afraid it will not be enough.. i will surely pay u back. don't worry.

 

i ask how much u want.

" don't mistaken me. i'm not here to conn you. how much u give i will gladly accept it." i say i left with $10.

 

he say i can go with you to the atm and withdraw. u can have my hp or watch if you don believe me. so i say. ok i give u $100 i will keep yr phone for a day. he say if u trust me you dont have to even keep my phone. i can't possibly give him money and not keep any securely right.

if he really got rob or whatever. he will put his fake watch and hp for my keeping what. but he didn't.

 

I say i can help you call my friend who is a police to give you a place to stay for the night in 5-star hotel. he say don't need to trouble your friend. i'm sure police have alot of more important thing to do.

as i take my hp out from my pocket to call my dad he immediately say thank you very much sir. thinking i call the police. he immediately fly off the place. i stop him and give his all Chinese name card back to him.

 

as i'm waiting for my dad to fetch me from the loading and unloading bay. i told him about this man and obviously got a scolding saying i have been cheated. we sat at the car for awhile.

 

about 10min later i saw that same man with another man this time. Angry and thinking it's his accomplice . i follow them. this accomplice went into the supermarket. bought a sweet. use a $50 to change. went out and gave the man 20bucks.

immediately i want to embrasses him to let the man know he has been con.

 

i went towards him and say. have you got enough money already? he say now have 30. need another 30. and quickly speed off with his legs. this fellow Singaporean in his early 20's look at me and ask you know him?

 

i say he say he has been rob and have no place to stay.

yah he also say he got rob and walk off.

 

sorry that my eng is horrible.

2 China gal ... approached me. Too bad that they both are not hot busty babe ... so I am not abit bother about them. Anyway ... they told me that they lost their stuffs .... so ask me to give them money for food.

 

So being my policy that I don't give $$ to people.

 

Me: Then let me buy some food for both of you.
