Bommii Neutral Newbie August 14, 2007 Share August 14, 2007 Just received summon for speeding along PIE last week. Fine $130 and 4 demerit points I know i was cruising just below 100km/h on PIE on that day and some sections of PIE the speed limit is 80km/h, is there anyway to know which camera trapped me? ↡ Advertisement

Ikeehc Clutched August 14, 2007 Share August 14, 2007 don't the letter state where you were caught speeding? maybe you can call up the TP and check with them. They are everywhere nowadays, better to keep within speed limit. only delay your journey by another 5 to 10 mins.
Bommii Neutral Newbie August 14, 2007 Author Share August 14, 2007 Nope, it says PIE and the date & time, no specific location.
Dtvox Neutral Newbie August 14, 2007 Share August 14, 2007 The mounted camera can be found before the BKE exit but very often, the speed traps are laid out at the overhead bridges along the expressway. 2 very common sightings there: 1. Near Eunos exit 2. Near Steven Road exit
Simpleman 1st Gear August 14, 2007 Share August 14, 2007 The notice should indicate the stretch where you're above the speed limits, though no specific location is mentioned. I'd been a bit lucky. Some months ago, I received a TP letter informing me that I had exceeded the limit while travelling along the PIE to Jurong on a Sunday afternoon. No fine, just a warning with the advice to travel safely.

Watwheels Supersonic August 14, 2007 Share August 14, 2007 Most likely it's the overhead bridge around CJC just b4 Steven's Road exit. The MIW like to camo themselves near the bunch of trees aiming at the backside of unknowing speeding cars. I didn't kenna cause I know they like to station on the 2 overhead bridges outside Toa Payoh and the one near CJC. I always make it a point to slow down when ever I'm there. Tiek Neutral Newbie August 14, 2007 Share August 14, 2007 Har?? Below 100kmph also get summon? I always drive at 90++ on the PIE, even if the stretch is just 80 and has signs that say camera zone. So far haven't got anything yet. Looks like I should slow down liao. But I always see cars zooming at 100 or more at lane 1, how come they don't seem to be bothered by the speed cams? Sorry for u bro. Drive safe.
