Anyone has nintendo ds lite? need help

recently gotten a ds lite

but i inserted the R4 and SD card, but the games i transfered to it cannot be played

and i cant do settings and customize the panel

wads the R4 cd rom for?

 

all request were rejected and not allowed

anyone know why?

 

my fren say i need to get a cartridge (gba or nds game pac thingy)

is it true?

 

abit frustrated cannot do anythiing

so near yet so far.

You need to transfer the files that are in the CD that comes with the R4. Transfer everything into the SD Card and you will be able to play the games. Games for DS Lite are with the extension *.nds. you only need these files to play DS Lite games.

what files did you copy from the CD to the R4?

You need to copy the following files from the CD to the SD card:

2 folders named _system_, moonshl

3 files _DS_Menu,_DS_MENU.SYS and _DS_MSHL.NDS

 

I own a DS Lite too. And I didn't have to insert any cartridge before playing the game.

nds are the games files for DS Lite.

 

If nothing works, maybe you should bring the DS Lite to the shop where you bought it? Maybe they can do something about it?

You have to remove the R4 first before you can change the settings of the time and date. You will see the "control Panel" of DS Lite itself. Once you have done the necessary, you will be prompted to shut down the DS Lite. Before you power up the DS LIte, insert the R4 again.
