kena once many years back. friends had same experience. normally they will use those VERY old cars or cars going to be deregistered to stage the accident. Right after the accident, one helpful tow truck will turn up beside you and offer help. Sound familiar? oh forgot to add, normally you are the car knocking into the old car and the bills will come up to a few thousand even though slight damages and old car!

Staged or not ... these useless workshop folks will arrive at the accident scene in no time...

if you watch carefully during heavy rain or just after rain, there will be many vans parked at expressway shoulders... they are waiting for durians to drop... once they sense that the traffic has stalled.. they will arrive at the scene of the accident to render "assistance"..

i has told of this when I took a ride from the towing vehicle.. the driver pointed to me these durian-pickers haha....

important to keep calm in the event on accident.. best to have a reliable workshop contact you can call..

take care!

TP/LTA don't catch these opportunist durian pickers?

according to the tow drivers, these workshop folks will pretend that their vehicles are spoilt, awaiting for towing... they will unplug a cable in their vehicle so that they can show the TP that their vehicles cant start...

sorry ... can't help it ... but this falls into both categories - staged and multi collision.

Crazy dude... It doesn't benefit him becos he rammed into the rear of the lorry who will claim against him too. When he got out of the car, was he giving the middle finger? Can't see clearly from the video

Anyway, this guy is so screwed with the video evidence. Shows how impt it is to have a in-car video cam

what's the penalty for staged accident? fine + jail? probably TP has to review and increase stiffer sentence(higher fine + longer jail term) for such offenders. No wonder insurance premium keep going upz.

From the way I see it, he already rammed the rear of the lorry, then reversed and hit the aunty car (Honda airwave I think), then moved forward and rammed the rear of the lorry one more time.

Not sure what the guy is trying to do, but based on his body language (when coming out from the car), there's possibility that he intently staged the chain collision accident.

Heng ah, luckily aunty got camera.

should charge him for reckless and dangerous driving...there were a few workers sitting in the back of the lorry when he stepped on acclelerator to bang the lorry a second time

Twincharged

i mean the altis driver was like when he got out of the car, he was gesturing to the rear car " why did you hit me? .... cause me to hit the lorry in front ??"

Think he accidentally hit the front and does not want to be the last car, so he reverse and hit the back so as he can claim the rear car hit him and cause him to hit the front.
