Strawberrypink Neutral Newbie August 7, 2007 Share August 7, 2007 i have seen guardian and watson sell this teeth whitening set. its behind the counter, so muz ask the staff to show u. coz its pretty ex. or u can try asking ur dentist for chemical whitening - last longer. chemical / Laser whatever names are the same..how long it lasts really depends on your teeth condition and your lifestyle habits etc..can last from months to a year..depend how u take care. Some may not even see very significant results. Price is costly, if want a cheap teeth whitening , I know there's one aesthetic saloon in HV which charges $500 or $600+ but not done by dentist. def longer lasting than the one brudder Mubarakrashid mentioned an hour. lol

Mubarakrashid Neutral Newbie August 8, 2007 Author Share August 8, 2007 teeth whitening is actually a very simple procedure which takes about 45 mins - 1 hr. Chairside teeth whitening uses higher strength of hydrogen peroxide abt 10~35%, whereby home whitening kits usually contains lower strength like carbamide peroxide. Do Take note u may experience teeth sensitivity for next few hours after treatment.Do not drink any stained food & drinks e.g green tea, coke ,smoking etc for next 12 hours at least. There are several systems available in local dentistry, such as Britesmile, Opalescence (higher HP %) , Pola etc Charges from $600 ~ $1200 onward. i've never heard of Opalescence and Pola.. any review of these products and do u know which dentist offer them? thks in advance.. Mubarakrashid Neutral Newbie August 8, 2007 Author Share August 8, 2007 britesmile is a US based product, pretty effective compared all the other systems and qute reliable with very little side effects, mostly transient sensitivity. the cost is usually 1.2k but during this month its 900. its abt 3x 20 min cycles, changes will depend on the initial shade and condition of your tooth. All dental clinics can do britesmile if they are familiar bc they just need to get the portable kit from the supplier. however the listed clinic hold the machine at hand. please note that it the colgate free dental chk up this month so u can approach ur particpating dentist....no charge for chk up....cheers u seems to know the product well.. u work in dental clinic, work for britesmile or a pleased customer?
